About Animals at Home (South Devon) Ltd.
I'm Annette, and my husband Richard and I run the South Devon area of Animals At Home. The welfare of pets in our care is our priority and from having DOGS STAY with us and our family (or at one of our accredited Hosts) along with guinea pigs and hamsters to putting chickens safely away late on a summer's evening, the animals' needs are upmost.
The type of services we offer range from TRANSPORTING pets to Heathrow for onward flights to other countries, having pets for the day whilst their owners MOVE HOUSE (local or long distance), to caring for CATS, CHICKENS, SMALL ANIMALS, REPTILES AND PONIES in their OWN HOMES.
CATS often become stressed if taken away from their familiar territory. We visit many cats for feeding, play, medicating and of course cuddles when their owners are away on holiday. Whilst some of our Client's dogs just need a visit or walk so their owners can have a DAY OUT, others need occasional DOG DAY CARE at our home or out and about with us. We hold a current Licence to Board at our home.
We also offer a Veterinary transport service for owners who are unable to drive or are unavailable to take their pet to the VET. We collect, accompany and return the pet home. The owner is always welcome to travel with their pet.
Our specially fitted out vehicle which is DEFRA and State Veterinary Authorised allows us to transport animals not only locally as a PET TAXI but any distance, France, Spain and the rest of Europe included.
CRB checked, insured and trained in basic animal first aid we offer guaranteed visits and individual attention to much loved and very precious family pets. Having many years of experience with animals and owning a dog and a cat of our own we know how much we can all worry about them!
